These traditional semolina, honey and walnut biscuits will keep you warm and happy during the winter, especially during Christmas.
Melomakarona is the traditional spiced Christmas cookie baked in every Greek home during the Christmas festivities.
The biscuits are spiced with cinnamon and clove that provide this lovely warm flavour. It takes its characteristic texture from being briefly immersed into honey syrup flavoured with cinnamon and orange. Then it is drizzled with honey and walnuts.
